Not much on the horizon for new books next week. James Patterson has a new book out. And if you like non-fiction Regis Philbin, Kim Kardashian, Shaq, and Bill Maher all have books coming out. There is also a book written about the Ophra Winfrey show. It must be a holiday thing. Would you want a celebrity biography for Christmas?

James Patterson's new book is names Kill Alex Cross. It's the 18th book in the series about Detective Alex Cross. In this instalment the president's son and daughter are kidnapped, after escaping from their Washington D.C school. Alex is first on scene, but someone very high up is preventing him from being on the case and keeping him in the dark about it. At the same time half the population of the capital is affected by a contagion in the water supply. Alex discovers that the U.S might be in danger of the worst attack yet.
