Michael Crichton; the author of Jurassic Park, The Andromeda Strain, and Congo as well as other best-selling novels, last book is being released next week. Completed by science writer Richard Preston, (Crichton died in 2008, before finishing the novel) Micro pits technology with nature. This sounds like a great thriller to add to his list of hits.

Seven graduate students are recruited by a microbiology firm and sent to a mysterious lab in Hawaii. They are promised to be exposed to advanced tools that will open new doors in science. But in the forests of Oahu, trillions of microorganisms are discovered which start a search for priceless drugs. Soon the students find themselves in the hostile wilderness of Oahu, prey of a powerful technology.  The only thing they have to help them survive is the nature around them.

Janet Evanovich's new novel about bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is here. In Explosive Eighteen Stephanie is returning from the worst vacation ever, when her seatmate winds up dead in a garbage can on their L.A layover. The murder could be a long list of people who are looking for a photograph the dead man was suppose to be carrying. Now Stephanie is the only person to have seen the photo, and is trying to re-create the picture for sketch artists, but she can't get it quite right. Every new attempt turns out looking like a different person.

Now that she is home, everyone wants to know what happened in Hawaii. Morelli and Ranger are both not talking about it, and Stephanie doesn't want to talk about it either.
